First off I want to say that I am enjoying the Rise of Persia beta 2 mod and that it is impressive, you guys must be working really hard. Your hard work definately shows and, to be honest, I find it surprisingly accurate (student of Classics here!)

What I'd like to mention however, is a few things I noticed.

Now I'm not going to say you should make the Spartans stronger, they are fine as they are but I would like them to be have lambda on their shields. You have used some amazing shield designs so I am curious as to why the Spartans don't have their destinctive shield decoration.

Also, maybe one of the hoplite options at Sparta should be called Perioikoi (around-dwellers) who were the merchant class in Sparta. Sinces the Spartiates could not engage in commercial activity this class arose. However, sometimes the perioikoi would be drafted into service (especially later on during the Peloponnesian War)

Perhaps some cities should have temples already built there, it was quite strange to conquer Athens and find a temple to Aphrodite there. I guess I can just tear it down and build one to Athena but...err...just throwing out the suggestion.

It's a pity you couldn't have had Corinth in there but I guess the Peloponnese is getting kind of crowded.

The Tarentines are interesting to me for several reasons. First, they seem to have the same units as Athens. Now, I suppose you already know that Taras was a Spartan colony, perhaps you could call one of their main units 'partheniai hoplites' (sons of unmarried Spartan women and perioikoi)

By the way, how strong did you make Babylon?! Wow! I fought a few battles as them and was shocked at how fast they made enemies rout. I feel sorry for anyone who has gone Persia and has their eyes set on Babylon.
