Currently, ROP v2.2x is the most recent series of releases. Lower on this page you can find the files you need to play ROP v2.22.

Install Instructions

1. Download 'ROP v2.2 full installer'
2. Install the file you just downloaded it to the root of a clean, unmodded RTW 1.5 installation (often “C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome – Total War”)
   WINDOWS VISTA USERS:
   Please right-click on the file you just downloaded and select 'Run as Administrator' from the drop-down menu. It's normally the second option from the top.
   WINDOWS 7 USERS:
   Run the installer, and when the welcome screen appears, right-click on the installer's icon on your taskbar. There should be a sub-menu for Rise of Persia where you can select 'Run as Administrator'.
3. Download 'ROP v2.22 patch' and install it according to step 2.
   If you have experienced battle CTDs just during or after entering the battle map, install the optional bugfix too!
4. Play ROP by clicking the shortcut called 'Rise of Persia' on your desktop
